The North American had a smaller field this year due to the scheduling conflict with the World Championships in Florida. The field, though, was very competitive and there was a lot of play, with all days starting early and going almost to dark. The game is Association Rules.

The format this year is one double round robin of nine players followed by a knockout of best-of-three matches.
